Brutal and Merciless Killing of Bro.Thandra Yesus Dass (in Brief)
1. The fact findinq team (FFT) consisting of Lion.C.Francis ( AICC Executive member) Sri.P.James ( A practisinq lawyer) Sri.Murugan (HAL Employee & Evangelist) left Secunderabad on 26th Sept 2000, reaching Siddipet Dt.Medak, AP, around 10.35 AM.
2. To the utter surprise of FFT, one Sri Parasuram and Sri Ramesh received the FFT. Shortly thereafter, pastor Prakash joined us. Prakash is stationed at Siddipet and controls the sub station.
3. Mr. Parasuram, a construction contractor by profession, revealed that pastor Prakash told him T.YesuDass was a pious person who wouldn't even harm an insect. Mr. Parasuram further informed us that Yesu Dass was a resident of Milusthabad, which is around 25 kms from Siddipet on the Kama Reddy route. He further stated that the incident took place on 11.9.2000 at Wilson Nagar ( Venkaia Kunta), Lambadi tandur route, between 7.30 to 9 PM. T.Yesudass, aged 53 years, came on a motorcycle around 7.30 PM. A little later, a man approached his residence and called out to him. At the time, Yesu dass was praying. Also, there was a electricity shut-down. After a brief discussion, Yesu Dass went with the man and never returned. The next day it came to light that Yesudass had been murdered. Mr. Parasuram further stated that Yesusdass' first son-in-law was a nominal Christian.

4. The FFT then reached Yesudass' residence. The family lives in a rented house bearing No.986, having two small rooms. The monthly rent for the house is Rs.300/- without electricity & water charges. lt is learnt that the Yesudass family is residing in that house since November 1999. T.Yesudass is survived by his wife Thandra Manohara aged about 45 Years, three daughters named Shantha Kumari, 27, Sukumari, 23 and Swarnakumari, 21 years. He also has a 25 year old son named Stephenson. The first two daughters are working as Auxiliary Nurse Mid-wife (ANM) in a Public Health Centre and both of them are married. The third daughter, Swarnakumari, is studying B.Sc ( BZC) final year in Govt college, Siddipet. Stephenson is studying MCA at Bangalore. Except his elder son-ln-law and his son, the remaining family members were present at the house when the FFT visited them. We were told that the elder son-in-law and son went to the DSP' office at Sirsilla. His younger son-in-law, Gideon, an evangelist, was also present. Yesudass was an Arts graduate and was working as a Non-Medical Assistant (NMA) in a govt Hospital. He was verv kind to people. His monthly salary was around Rs. 9,000/-. It is learnt that he and his family are living at Musthabad for the past 15 Years. Apart from his work, he used to visit Pothakal, Jakkapur and other nearby places to conduct prayers. During 1991, a piece of land was purchased through contributions in the name of one Narasimhalu (alias) Timothy, son of Bhagya, for construction of a church at Musthabad. In this connection, there was some difference of opinion between Yesudass and an evangelist named Samuel. Samuel conducted prayers separately. Yesudass was actively involved in constructing a church called " FAITH HOME", which is still incompleted. Besides, every Sunday, he used to visit Jakkapur, which is 18 km from Musthabad, to conduct prayers. There were some objections from non-Christian locals about his movements. One or two untoward incidents had also taken place at Jakkapur in connection with Yesudass' preaching .People were also begining to attend prayer services conducted by Yesudass. Family members suspect these reasons might be the cause for his brutal killing.
4 Kms away from Mustabad Road, bylane where Bro. Yesudass was found Murdered on Monday night, 11 Sept, 2000.
The next day, i.e on 12th Sept 2000, in the morninq, through their milk vendor, the family came to know that he was murdered and his body was lying on the cart track leading to Murapur, just about 4 kms away from Musthabad, about 200 yards from the main road leading to Siddipet.
The FFT then went to Musthabad police station. Since the station house officer had gone to the DSP's office at Srisilla, the FFT met the Head Constable, Saleem. It was learnt that FIR was lodged on 12th sept 2000 by Yesudass's wife and that the crime was under Investigation by SI Venkateshvaralu
